His passion led him to become the pioneer of the bean-to-bar movement in Taiwan, positioning Fu Wan Chocolate as the country’s leading artisan chocolate producer and earning numerous international awards.

Fu Wan Chocolate purchases high-quality cocoa locally in Taiwan and selects premium cocoa beans from around the world. Specialising in bean-to-bar chocolate, it combines chocolate with the distinctive characteristics of Taiwan, creating fresh, delicate and captivating flavours that enchant the senses.

What makes Fu Wan Chocolate unique is its commitment to quality and sustainability. All chocolate is produced at its headquarters in Ping Tung County. This means that Fu Wan Chocolate manages the entire process, from fermentation to drying, roasting to grinding, ensuring maximum quality control and minimising environmental impact.

Although the cocoa trees are not certified organic, they are tested every year to ensure the absence of pesticide residues, confirming the commitment to pure and safe products. Fu Wan Chocolate is also the first Tree to Bar chocolate factory in Taiwan to comply with HACCP and ISO 22000 specifications. This certification reflects its ongoing commitment to excellence and food safety.
