What is it: Amano has exclusive rights to these unusual cacao beans. The “Dos Rios” cacao beans are grown in the Dominican Republic and magically blend to create one of the most unusual and sensory complex chocolates in the world.
Origine: Amano Chocolate wants to bring out the unique flavors of cacao beans from around the world, trying as chocolate producers to be as faithful as possible to the organoleptic properties of cacao, whose profile varies depending on the origin. Because of that there are no two single origin chocolate bars with the same flavour. The cacao beans genetics, the farmer skills, the care and the methods of chocolate production are an integral part of the taste that the chocolate will have. Through working with small, carefully controlled batches and lots of love and attention, Amano seeks simply to make the very best chocolate humanly — or heavenly — possible.
Ingredients: cacao beans, cane sugar, cacao butter, vanilla pods. May contain traces of peanuts, nuts, soy, wheat and milk.
Awards: Silver 2016 International Chocolate Awards – Americas Round, Bronze 2016 Academy of Chocolate Awards.
Notes: chocolate with notes of lavender, orange and bergamot, and with hints of spices such as cinnamon and cloves.
Storage: this premium chocolate must be properly conserved at a temperature of between 16 and 20 °C and kept away from direct light and sources of excessive heat or cold. If, for example, it is left in the car in summer or winter it will suffer potentially ruinous heat shock.
