What it is: This chocolate is produced with the finest Trinitario cocoa grown on Åkesson’s historic plantations, which have been operating in Madagascar since 1900. The cocoa from the Bejofo Estate, located in the Sambirano Valley, grows in a unique microclimate, favoured by the proximity of the Tsaratanana mountain range, the trade winds and the presence of the river, which floods the areas surrounding its banks during the rainy season, making them extremely fertile. These conditions provide an ideal habitat for many crops, particularly cocoa.
Origin: ARUNTAM – Sensory Chocolate is a ‘tale’ of passion and courage, an original product that arouses emotions in those who taste it, with direct control of the entire supply chain. The bars are created with a procedure aimed at ‘stressing’ the precious ingredients to a minimum in order to keep their organoleptic properties as unaltered as possible.
Ingredients: 72% min. cacao. Organic Madagascar cocoa beans, organic cane sugar, organic Madagascar cocoa butter. May contain traces of milk and nuts.
Notes: particularly harmonious with notes of citrus, red fruits and spices on the finish.
